This week's quote

"Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow." — Melody Beattie

This week's blog post

When going through the experience of separation/divorce, one of the (many) new things you may find yourself navigating is what to do with your extra alone time. This post provides practical suggestions for creating both fixed and loose plans to avoid feeling isolated.

Both require preparation ahead of time, but you’ll thank yourself if you’re the type of person who can easily fall into the trap of doom-scrolling or spiraling (hi, it me) when you now have what may at first feel like an excessive amount of alone time. —Hillary

This week's resource

The benefits of meditating include reducing stress, sharpening focus, improving sleep quality, and so on. However, making it a habit can be tough, especially if you aren't sure what you're looking for and/or are brand new to the practice.

I have tried several different platforms, but my favorite is Great Meditation on YouTube. They offer (free!) guided meditations for everything from increasing gratitude to manifesting your dream home. If you haven't given meditating a fair chance yet, a guided meditation would be a great starting point.
