This week's quote
"It's time to start loving yourself instead of loving the idea of other people loving you." — Billie Brooks
This week's blog post
One of the things that makes the Sincerely, Divorced community so special is that we are intentionally inclusive—of all genders, ages, relationship types, religions, and identities. And so this week, we are pleased to share a post by Philip Clark, a member of the community and now a guest contributor to the blog. His deeply personal reflection on his divorce, its impact, and his relationship to himself gives great insight into divorce from a male perspective. We are appreciative of Phil's willingness to share his experience so that we may all grow and learn from it. Divorce is a human experience that connects our hearts regardless of our differences and the prevailing narratives we often encounter and embrace.
This week's journal prompt
Create a meaningful life for ourselves after divorce starts with working out what matters most to us—hence we are sharing a journal prompt for this purpose.
If you were to look back on this next chapter of your life and feel proud and content with how you've faced life's challenges, how would you be approaching daily life?
While we are on the topic of values, we thought we'd share the online workshop we did earlier this year to share how values help ground us during the divorce experience. If you venture over to our new YouTube channel to check it out, we'd love it if you'd subscribe.
This week on Instagram
Head over to Instagram to catch up on some of this week's content. In addition to two very funny reels that have resonated with everyone, we made an announcement about Holiday Hope Notes. It's one of several things we have planned to provide extra support for navigating the holiday during and after divorce.

Music in the Barn at Boordy Vineyards is this Sunday and we hope that those of you who are within driving distance will attend. In December, we are going south to Columbia, Maryland for a holiday event at Lost Ark Distillery. The event is free and there is option to purchase a ticket for a tour and tasting. Bookmark and follow the Sincerely, Divorced event calendar so you don't miss one opportunity for a connection that's like nothing else.
