Post-divorce bucket list
Do you have a post-divorce bucket list yet?
A post-divorce bucket list is a list of all of the things you want to do now that you have the freedom, time, and space to pour back into yourself.
These can be small things, like buying a comforter in a bright color for the first time or eating cereal for dinner.
They can be big things, like remodeling your house, going back to school, or completely changing your style or appearance.
They can be traditional bucket list things, like going skydiving, traveling to another country, or getting a tattoo.
Some things on your list may be short-term goals and some may be long-term. You may also decide to make two lists—one for the immediate future and one for down the road.
Before you start your list, set an intention by briefly describing how you want your life to feel post-divorce and beyond. This may help get the ideas flowing.

Whatever these things are and whenever you’d like to do them, write it down and keep the list handy for when you’re going through the really hard stuff.
The list will remind you of all of the wonderful things, moments, and experiences that are still ahead of you—like seeing the light at the end of a long tunnel.
